Analog Photography
Double exposure photography explores my own body in a space occupied by industrial rather than natural forms. This series was made as I analyzed my relationship to biodiversity. Returning to rural Iowa after living in Ecuador, one of the most biodiverse places on Earth, I experienced a profound sense of claustrophobia and loss. Wildlife
Through wildlife photography I explore the beauty and diversity of animal forms and behaviors. In particular, I like to photograph less popular animal groups, such as reptiles or insects, to share the elegance and individuality which I see in these creatures.
